MUSCATEL WINS FOURTH OLYMPIAD!
For the fourth consecutive year the Muscatel Intermediate School's Science Olympiad team has won the Los Angeles County Science Olympiad! We are hoping for a detailed special report in next week's RKC Reporter weekly e-mail.

AFTERSCHOOL.NOW (DEC ISSUE )
The After School Alliance has released the December, 2007, issue of Afterschool.now. A special, more easily read, .pdf edition is available here. Featured are two studies illustrating academic gains from after- school programs and a $100 million increase in Federal funding for such programs.
COOL STUFF-KIWANIS EDITION

At the turn of the last century a remarkable blind youth in Chicago became a physician. Later he also became a Kiwanian. His remarkable story is recounted in the article found here.

RIF SEASON IN FULL SWING
